Hi!  My name is Jennisse and this is Gravel Bay Designs.

Gravel Bay is an actual location on Flathead Lake in Montana.  My grandparents built a house there when I was little.  My parents both helped construct what we all now call “the Lakeplace.”  I spent a lot of time down there with my grandparents when I was growing up.  I fished with my grandpa a lot.  My grandma and I spent a lot of time laughing and talking about life in the leaky rowboat.  (We still have the rowboat and it is still leaky.)  My mom and I did stained glass and weaved baskets in the summers when she was off from teaching.  I learned to golf in Polson with my grandparents.  This place shaped me in many ways.

When I graduated from High School, I moved from Montana to experience the world.  But after some time returned to where my heart is.  The Lakeplace is still my favorite place in the world.

Somehow growing up around a builder and an artist shaped how I think about the world as I am now in school to become an architect.  I hope this blog will allow me to share with you my ideas and designs about life and Tiny Houses.

Thank you for visiting and reading!
